Sorry – am I the only one who doesnt get this post? It looks to me like a gymnast doing a split handstand on beam in a warm up or something… seems completely normal – Am I missing something??

or a backhandspring (I don’t know how is it call in english – just the bhs when you stand sideways to the direction of the beam)

Looks like one of those sideways front walkovers. FOrget what the actual name is (if it even has one)

Yes, I suppose it’s a sideway walkover too

I would guess the front walkover too. I think it might be named after Kristi Phillips.

Looks to me like she may have done like a side cartwheel into a handstand and is doing some sort of tick tock like thing to demo her flexibility. this is what we’re doing right? guessing what she’s doing?

Not a clue what the game is Jamie :-) -shes doing a split handstand… could have come from a cartwheel entry, a backflip (back handspring) with 1/4 turn entry or it could have just been a press to handstand mount…

shes doing a cartwheel to handstand, then front walkover out. I just competed against her and she did it, and i also have her as a friend on facebook and she has this picture on her profile.

Geena confirms. It’s a forward walkover sideways on beam.

COOL.

It’s called a Grozdova, after 1970s Soviet gymnast Svetlana Grozdova

Thanks K.

I added a link to Grozdova’s routine.

I judges her doing this this year. It is a front walkover.
