Sorry, but that is a really bad magazine. No research, bad writing, poor editing skills. Example: The Arkaev piece is riddled with factual errors, he’s been back in Russia for years and there is no such thing as a Unified Korean team, to name just two.

Well, it’s free.

This edition seems to be much improved over the first two.
… I’m still working through it.

I noticed the same problems with the Arkaev story.

The Grishina interview and photos were terrific, you must admit.

I thought North Korea and South Korea were supposed to start competing together as a team? Did that not start yet or was it something they talked about but never actually happened?

North and South Korea marched together in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics. But that was about it, so far as I recall.

By 2008 they were at each other’s throats again.

Not sure where that contributor got his information. I though Arkaev was there a very short time.
