remembering Christy Henrich and Yelena Mukhina

Christy Henrich: While Henrich was succeeding in gymnastics, her health was beginning to suffer from an eating disorder. In 1989, a judge at an international meet told her she needed to lose weight. Elena Vyacheslavovna Mukhina, born in Moscow, Russian SFSR, was a former Soviet gymnast who won the All-Around title at the 1978 World Championships at Strasbourg, France. …

so the ioc was mean and ridiculous and stunk because they took away china’s medal and made lu li fall out of medal contention
the ioc was nice to take away andreea raducan’s medal
andreea raducan deserved to have her medal taken away

happydancer119 and hannah are the same person. i think i’ll comment as both happydancer119 and hannah and elena “yelena” mukhina, i’ll miss you so much! God is with you and He made you for a specific and perfect reason! He made your coach but your coach crossed the line I like him anyway

I’m sorry for you. Being disabled made you an invalid in the Soviet Union but when the Soviet Union perished you were still an invalid until 2006…when you passed away.
I am 13…I am experiencing puberty but not the enemy within…The video about Elena “Yelena” Mukhina said that she was a tall and petite young lady. I am not trying to call you an invalid, Yelena, but I am sorry for your loss and I’m sorry you were disabled. You were a beautiful and tall and petite young lady, like me.
May God bless you and may God let you rest in peace.
