WOW so does that mean that Sasha P is leaving his position?

Rick: I love your bravery and honesty. How about a post describing what different coaches make? I realize there are different levels, but from the assistant coach at a random gym to a sweet Title 9 sinecure. What’s the typical rate and pyramid? (I’m not going to do work there, but I like economics/business…and the topic would be on topic for your blog. And you could probably give a very informed “industry wide” viewpoint.

And the comments would flow! :)

Easiest would be to post my own “survey” of coach readers.

Normally salary is confidential. But there have been a few surveys, including this one from Canada:

The US Elite Coaches Association has done some studies.

Anyhow, will add it to my DRAFT posts for the future. This week is already too busy with gymnastics.

Oh, $20-25 K would be a new full-time coach salary.

$50K is good for a Head Coach.

The highest club paid coaches around $75K.

Club owners should make 100K, if everything is working. Unless you’re WOGA. Valeri makes much, much more.

The College coaches on the Floor at Championships are paid anywhere from NOTHING to $150K plus. No doubt Jay at Georgia is feeling some heat for his high salary after this disappointing season.
