It's a TV event, revenues and ratings helped a lot if the Americans win. Over time it's evolved into a meet where good gymnasts, but not those expecting to beat Bross attend. I also thought it might be because of the lower amount of prize money that's on offer but that doesn't seem to be effecting the mens' side of the meet. All in all, I do wish them all good fortune to do their very best. That's all one may ask of such athletes.
