Amy you are aware that the rankings are based completely on average scores. OU is still ranked 2 because of their average score. The scoring may be subjective, but the rankings, unlike other sports, is not.

What about UCLA stumbling on their floor landings and still going 9.9? And Frattone and Li going 9.9 on VT's with hops that lacked height/distance. Beam was crazy for BOTH teams. Mizuki Sato went 9.95 with a wobble and a a sloppy dismount (in fact, most of their routine has sloppy beam dismounts with the exception of Hopfner-Hibbs, hers is pretty tidy). The scoring was crazy on both sides. In a meet this close with this huge amount of overscoring, there's really no way to know which team should have won, people will just go with the team they like more, so for most poeple, they would say UCLA was robbed. Maybe if we go down the deductions with a better quality feed, we'll know just who deserved to win.

Seriously, Georgia, UP THE STREAM QUALITY.

Just watched the entire meet. Not that these dual meets really matter to anyone, but UCLA should have won. UGA was overscored at least 3 times. The idea of Noel Couch getting a 9.9 on beam makes me throw up a little.

OK, Amy. OK.

???

... like a lot of people, I really don't know Oklahoma ... yet.

I've visited Stanford, Nebraska, Georgia, Utah. Know a lot more people in those programs. ... It's part of the bias towards the "old" top teams.

OU put up a 197.9 too. AND they beat the #1 team handily. Ridiculous that they are still ranked #2, and cmon Rick, show my Sooners some love if you're going to talk about a team that refuses to lose!
