His whole strategy was to sit back and wait for his moment. The first gold medal for the Aussies was a legendary one! Did you know if the other competitors just lay on the ice and refused to finish they would have had to re-run it. But they all scrambled for the silver and it was determined that the race was fair. Love it! Only one criticism for the guy- 'you are going bald, let go of the long spikes'! hahaha I’m also an Aussie and he is an absolute champion!
