I was in the audience yesterday, it was interesting… UCLA looked very good on events like vault and suprisingly bars. Although they had a 9.9, they also had 2 falls and had to count a 9.2. Then on floor I was surprised because I thought it would be a great event for them and that they would pull ahead. Their star Hopfner-Hibbs (<not sure of spelling?) went out of bounds twice and someone took a fall. As you say too inconsistent to take a national title.
