Magee actually beat Jackson head-to-head Friday in Fayetteville (Jackson had a slight bobble on the beam).
Great meet!
Stick contest. Travesty for the sport. I don’t care if they can’t do the same tricks that the pixies can. They should at least reward difficulty differences within the population that is there!
Poly, TCO, Apolytongp, whatever your name is this year, have you even been paying attention this season? The parity in women’s NCAA gymnastics has been remarkable. I saw OU in person last weekend and they easily looked better than any college team I’ve ever seen before. So, “travesty for the sport” is a pretty lame argument. Some schools are getting better, and are definitely being rewarded. The fact that any team has beaten UCLA, Alabama, Georgia, and Utah is only and can only be GOOD for the sport. This is a great year and you’re still bitching about it being boring (“stick contest”)?
I’m #88 in the nation on men’s floor
