The Great West Gym Fest is hosted in the gorgeous Coeur d’Alene Resort.
It’s wonderfully convenient to host everything in a hotel. But there are challenges.
The biggest problem with set-up for us was fitting in the bleachers.
Next … do we need to remove ceiling tiles for Bar dismounts?
In the end, we have a classy and cosy venue.

Jerk.
Where do families stay if they can’t afford the resort? Or is the price REALLY discounted? If there aren’t other options I’d stick with the old Buckeye Classic that I grew up competing in and LOVING!
Fabulous, I wish Quebec would get it’s act together on invitationals, the Gymnix is good but last year the provincial gymnasts were pushed off the podium by the world cup. Where are the great themes and the fun meets.
So how was Miss Kupets?
Last season my team stayed in different cheaper hotels around town. But I really wish we’d stay at the resort. Price, I think, about $140 / room. Parking is extra. And WiFi is only free 2hrs / day.
I am so jealous right now I can hardly speak. I actually just mapquested DC to Idaho but apparently it would take me 1 day, 15 hours so…perhaps not.
Sigh. I LOVE courtney!
