wow, that dismount IS difficult to stick. kind of surprising she lands facing the bars…it seems like it threw her off a bit. most elite gymnasts I’ve watched land with their back facing the bars. Very pretty bars work, though!
Beautiful bars! Love the first low bar to high bar transition.
I wonder if she intends to upgrade to a double twist?
Why did she get rid of her markelov? She did it so beautifully! Her piked jaeger is nice, but I miss that markelov!
The double double and the 1 1/2 are probably worth the same.
shergymrag – I think the double double would be easier to land cleanly, although the one-and-a-half is unique – really takes you by surprise!
I’m not sure about the difficulty of this dismount, but it shouldn’t be higher than E, as opposed to the tucked double-double which is an F.
I have no idea why she left out the Markelov but I suspect she’s not doing full-difficulty yet (her floor was watered down too).
she looked really close to blowing out a knee there; i hope she improves on it. i love the uniqueness of the landing in any case!
