Would this be the type of thing you are after?  Kiwi doller is not very high, so I thought it might be a good place to look.  
There was a place in Napier making handgaurds for a fraction of the price of the Reslight brand, I don&#039;t think the quality is as good, or if they are still doing business.</description>

I felt it was too thin and too stiff to cut into grips. 

So far as I know some very special treatment needs made during the processing of leather for gymnastics grips.</description>
