In Bangladesh the coaches cannot justify bringing in costly grips from Europe, Japan or the States.
And they currently have no good supplier of less expensive grips.
Though Bangladesh produces a great deal of leather, it is too “stiff” for home made grips. (Like the ones we used when I was a boy.)

Any suggestions for them?
Is there a less expensive supplier in China?
Or … should we simply ship them all the “old”, left-behind grips from our clubs in developed countries? They could mix and match from single grips.

Our society fabricates less expensive grips. Perhaps I could help you. Contact me on this e-mail info@skiss-leotards.com
I thought old grips were dangerous.
Somewhere in Bangladesh, there’s gotta be grip quality leather or someone who can make it.
A coach showed me today some leather sent to him by a coach from India.
I felt it was too thin and too stiff to cut into grips.
So far as I know some very special treatment needs made during the processing of leather for gymnastics grips.
What about those self-made gauze bandage-grips-
the romanians have been successfully using them ever since?

Would this be the type of thing you are after? Kiwi doller is not very high, so I thought it might be a good place to look.
There was a place in Napier making handgaurds for a fraction of the price of the Reslight brand, I don’t think the quality is as good, or if they are still doing business.
Thanks Gem. The cost of $20.00 New Zealand is excellent. But they need Senior grips with dowels for both boys and girls.
