another unique Tammy Biggs drill

… I’ve never seen it before.

For Aerial Cartwheel and Aerial Walkover.

Click PLAY or watch it on YouTube.

George notes that those are furniture sliders or furniture movers, available in the hardware department at major home furnishing stores.

No, I can’t imagine what they are Dana.

You can get them at Rona or Home Depot, Dana. They are simply furniture sliders or furniture movers depeneding on where they sell them. Look in the hardware department :-)

If you live in Australia you can order them off ebay.

I’ve got some in my closet. Maybe I’ll try this drill after the kids go to bed.

I’m not quite understanding the idea of using these? it doesnt look like they are really doing anything to help with the trick. I think going off the mat is more help than the sliders. Can anyone explain this a little more?

The gymnast tries to “fling” the furniture slide with their foot as far as they can.

This encourages a stronger and faster leg swing on the Aerial.

And yet, that second girl hardly flings them off at all.

You could do the same with cardboard and something for traction pasted to on side.
