any ideas on where to get those slider things?
No, I can’t imagine what they are Dana.
You can get them at Rona or Home Depot, Dana. They are simply furniture sliders or furniture movers depeneding on where they sell them. Look in the hardware department
Those things looks like these furniture slides.
If you live in Australia you can order them off ebay.
I’ve got some in my closet. Maybe I’ll try this drill after the kids go to bed.
I’m not quite understanding the idea of using these? it doesnt look like they are really doing anything to help with the trick. I think going off the mat is more help than the sliders. Can anyone explain this a little more?
The gymnast tries to “fling” the furniture slide with their foot as far as they can.
This encourages a stronger and faster leg swing on the Aerial.
And yet, that second girl hardly flings them off at all.
You could do the same with cardboard and something for traction pasted to on side.
