gymnastics – preventing H1N1

I’ve heard informally of quite a few cases. Some are mentioned on this thread:

Flipper missed 2.5 weeks of gym and school with H1N1. She had seemed to recover by the end of the first week, but was very sick again on Monday – and is still not at 100%. …

Recall last May that some Dallas Gymnastics Clubs shut down completely.

Will that be happening again soon?

Girls wearing masks to prevent the H1N1 influenza virus are seen at the venue of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Ise, Mie prefecture, central Japan September 11, 2009.

All kids coming into the gym area now have to stop at the door and use hand-sanitzer.

I got h1n1 on the cruise I took from 10/17-10/23. I’d say I really started feeling it on the 21st. I’m still not feeling quite up to par, and it does make you feel very dizzy.

I’m not really sure there is much you can do to avoid it…if you don’t go to gym you could get it at school or work or…vacation.
