Perto, with everyone faltering it’s no wonder Bross pulled off a medal despite the fall. I was also rooting for Porgras (and I feel that if she had a better vault she might have done it). But what’s more surprising is to be able to win an AA medal with a FTY. What is it, 1987?
To be fair, Bross’s gymnastics don’t scream “passion and artistry” either. Consistency and big tricks is the name of the game. Do I agree? Not really, but that’s entirely a different topic.

I really did not want her gymnastics to win – not her personally, just her gymnastics. Boring, poor form on her vaults, un-inspired gymnastics. I was hoping Porgras would win.
Is anyone still a little miffed that second place can win with a fall? Or anyone in the medals can do so with a fall?
