Heh, yeah, it might have been better to pick a pic where she wasn’t cheating a skill.
Mostly, though, I don’t know a whole lot of kids with $85 to spend on a wall sticker.

If I was going to sticka life sized gymnast on my wall I would probably go for someone slightly more photogenic… erm… let me think… oh yeah! Like the girl who actually won!
That’s from her beam routine in Beiing. When they give you the gold medal it means you won moron.
Fathead lets you upload a picture and make a customized one. About $140 for the biggest, $90 for the next size down. You need a high resolution image, obviously. Presumably there are copyrights on most pics you find online, and presumably Fathead wouldn’t use a photo that isn’t yours. But I somewhat doubt they’ll know, or care, or even recognize a gymnast when they see one to know whether or not it could be a personal photo.

Those would be fun to buy and put up on the walls of the gym.
But you would probably want one showing a well executed split leap if you were going to have it up in the gym for the kids to look at and aspire to.
Wasn’t Shawn the last World Champion, the 2008 US national champion, multiple medalist at the 2008 Olympics? I think I’d have her and many others up on my wall for those achievements alone. I’m sure if I only put the “perfect gymnast” on the wall then I couldn’t put a gymnast on the wall at all. You’d think the current Olympic champion would be able to do a double back in her floor routine, wouldn’t you? (hey, I love Nastia regardless)
I find a double front to be a bit harder than a double back.
Regardless, if I put up pictures I want pictures of good form and technique. For instance, not Nastia twisting. But Nastia leaping – not too shabby!
Honestly the best leaps I liked of all time are Omelianchiks. I love her posture, arm and finger positions, and of course her legs and toes are perfect.
I’m utterly amazed at how seriously people seem to be taking this, and how offended people seem to be getting about… stickers.
Seriously, people, there are better uses for your time than arguing on the internet about wall stickers. I hope.
I hate to break this to you but while Nastia’s splits might be good her hand positions are not. Her leaps are nothing special and certainly not the total package
Nope her hand positions are not, hence why I offered Omelianchik as a better over all leaper. I can’t think of a whole lot of gymnasts that are able to do all parts of a leap well anymore, and it’s not like it’s that difficult to master at the elite level.
