Wow, gotta give the girl credit for her difficulty. I just wish she’d clean up her execution a bit – those leg separations kill me.
I was just thinking the same thing as Kristen.
I see a couple of leg separations, but minor distractions from an absolutely hugely improved routine from olympics 2008. I’m impressed. Way to go Beth!!
toe on Tkatchev mixed grip regrasp to 180 pak salto, did i see that right?
wow.
Yup. Amazing!
WOW well that was sweet
Oh, she’s looking so, so much better! And her routine was always amazing.
I like the markelov-geinger combo… I might have to snag that one for my gym… though it might be voronin-geinger… still makes a cool flow…
Is there a deduction for her whapping her feet on the low bar?
Love the composition of the routine but I really wish she would work on the nitty gritty of bars. Like casting all the way to handstand. Like completing her pirouette on top of the bar. As it stands, she will have to rely on mistakes from cleaner gymnasts to win another gold at worlds despite having probably the most unique routine of all time. She isn’t training vault and beam any more. She must have more hours in the day to work on some basics for bars.
In an interview after the competition Beth said she would not do AA again but that she would vault to help them team out in team competitions, so she is obviously still training vault. I think she’s just dropped beam.
I do, however, agree that there are areas that she needs to clean up and deal with.
That girl can swing
There were several leg separations, and I noticed that she hit her feet on the lowbar during the ono, but that was MUCH inproved from the olympics.
The release is actually her original element, the Tweddle, but yes, it is. And it’s awesome!
