I saw an article about two gymnasts from NISHIDA’S GYMNASTICS & FITNESS CENTER in Kingston, Jamaica competiing well at a meet in Florida, the 2009 Gasparilla in Tampa.
NISHIDA’S offers a full range of gymnastics programs. As well as Cheer.
Mr. Shin Nishida has built a strong program there. Congratulations.
Another Japanese led gymnastics facility – ISHIMOTO GYMNASTIC School – is only 3000 square feet. But is looking for more.

One of my seniors went there for spring break and her mom knew someone that had just opened a gym. She said they went and it was really small and they didn’t even have all the equipment yet. Their top girl was like a level 4, but she said they were all so adorable and loved being there.
OMG!!!!! i used to do rec at Ishimoto’s. They have had some good gymnasts over the past few years. Shannay Gentles was one of the best, they have a girl named Bianca there now.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT, I USED TO DO GYMNASTICS HERE UNTIL I QUITTED BECAUSE I CAME SECOND PLACE TO SHANIA EDGAR. I KINDA WANT TO GO BACK, BUT I DO NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT TO DO THAT…………….I WAS ALWAYS BEATING HER UNTIL THE LEVEL FIVE COMPETITON.I WAS THE BEST THERE. I REALLY MISS IT.

Alexia if your spirit is telling you to go back, perhaps you should. It is better to try and fail than to live with regrets, and don’t always try to be the better than any one, just try to be the best you. That is the reason why you gave up so easily the first time.

I thank the Lord that He has brought Mr Shin and the ishimoto gymnastic club to Jamaica. Bringing positivity to the young people.
Umm well I going to ishimoto now and the gym is now large but still needs some touch up which I and some other peops are planning to work on. Its great though
