Here are a list of books that have completely changed alot of what I thought about food (most of it before was the garbage of info the "nutritionists" would teach us gymnasts at those little seminars prior to Westerns or Canada Games).

Enter The Zone - by Barry Sears
Mastering the Zone - by Barry Sears
Toxic Fat - by Barry Sears
The Paleo Diet - by Loren Cordain
The Paleo Diet for Athletes - by Loren Cordain

That guy has NO creditals! If you want good nutrition books, pick up ones that are by REGISTERED Dietetians, not nutrtionists (as RD's must go through continuing ed, as well as other stuff like that) and ones that are endorsed by the ADA or American Dietetics Association. There are many RDs who work in sports medicine nutrtion and the like.

Another important thing to also consider with many females (as well as males, but more important with females) is that if you live ANYWHERE north of Atlanta, you're at risk of having a defincy in Vitamin D. Which can lead to bone problems (as well as possible links to such things as MS). So if you live in the North (anywhere in the US), it's a good idea to get a Vitamin D level check.
