best gymnastics scores new code

What’s a winning international score under the new new Women’s Code of Points?

From Gymnastics In Europe:

Now that we have had a few International Competitions this year with the new code I have decided to compare scores and see what a good score is on each apparatus and All Around and who has scored the highest scores so far. I know some of the scores may not be completely accurate (e.g. the American Cup) but it’s just so people can get an idea of the scoring under the new code.

Jordyn is the best female gymnast on the planet. You heard it here. It’s politically incorrect. But it’s patently true. She could stand on top of the globe and look down and see that she is better than anything else out there. she’s it. She is number one. Not will be. IS!

Jordyn’s beam is weak.

But you might be right about the #1 ranking AA.

She’s young. Has great coaching. Beam improves with age more than the other apparatus.

I’d LOVE to see her contend in London.

I say bring it on right now. Let’s get some sort of (figurative) cage match going where they have to compete. It would be like Highlander. There can only be one! And Jordyn would squash them all.

I have a feeling she’ll get killed by the judges on bars in a “real” competiton

btw the Nadia Comaneci invite was under the old code, no way Sandra would get a 15 with such easy passes under this one

Y’all at WWGym swore UP AND DOWN that Shawn would not get her Amanar credited at Olys…

Is she going to London? Thought she would be too young.

“Y’all at WWGym swore UP AND DOWN that Shawn would not get her Amanar credited at Olys… ”

It was much better at the Olys than at nationals, at least in prelims and team finals

and it really SHOULD NOT have been credited in the AA, or at least been harsher on the B score

But you guys SWORE it would not get creditted.

Hey, here is a cool video. Check out Nastia’s 2.5 randi. I’m not sure she get’s it around. How’s that twist stickler…

I don’t see a video…

and I’m completely aware Nastia hardly ever got her Randi around, but the requirements were different for that code

they gave the skill credit, and deducted for incomplete twisting

Thanks Marcus. I deleted the score from the OLD CODE Nadia Comaneci invite.

Good eye.

No, no, we don’t know if Jordyn is current No. 1 or not. The Chinese haven’t yet flex their muscle. They are busy training for the Chinese National Games held on September.

I can easily see Jiang Yuyuan, Yang Yilin, He Kexin, Deng Linlin top 60 mark on AA. So we shall see.

Jordyn should put her foot on the necks of the after-defeated other gymnasts and beat her chest and make a Tarzan sound.
