Blythe on Gymblog reports that Shawn Johnson is a front runner.

This new season premieres tonight on ABC.

Sad but true, the exposure our sport gets from a World Gymnastics Champion being on this reality show may prove to be more important than the Beijing Olympics.

Hi gymnastics lovers!
My name is JJ and I am a level 10 gymnast. I recently have been diagnosed with stress fractures in both of my legs, so unfortunately I obviously am out of “hard core” gymnastics for a bit. My teammate suggested I start a gymnastics blog to ease some of this desire to be in the gym 24/7 :)

Shawn did really well. A little slip coming down the stairs but She did extremely well doing a good standard waltz. It should be interesting to see how she does in Latin next week.

JJ, if you had even bothered to read some of Coach Rick’s blog, you’d know he’s very good at finding new blogs and advertising them.

I did notice Shawn slip coming down the stairs. I wasn’t sure If I’d really seen that though.
