Pepsi doesn’t make people fat. Eating too much makes people fat. That’s why there were fat people long before there was Pepsi. Of course, there were a lot fewer fat people and fatness was considered “cool” I guess because only people who were relatively well off could afford to get fat. Everything people did was a work out. Now it’s easy to get fat. In this era of washing machines, cars, and commercial farms people would still be fat without Pepsi. The only way they wouldn’t get fat is if all food was strictly utilitarian and didn’t taste that good. Nobody would eat anything they didn’t have to eat.
Actually Sheg, that’s not quite true. High consumption of soda that isn’t diet has lots of calories. Calories, plus lots of sugar is what causes weight gain.
