True, but it seems like late teens or early twenties for women but guys can be much older. It has to do with the image that people (including HSers) have of HSers as quasi-adult. However, in reality there is incredible physically maturity range in HS. Heck, the average college man actually grows an inch in college (mostly first year of course). Even with women, you see some similar tendancies albiet the last 10 years of tweener fangirl idols has allowed much younger actresses to play their actual age. It’s pretty normal to see older people playing high school. It has to do with the image that people (including HSers) have of HSers as quasi-adult.
