The UK has selected 6 male gymnasts to stream towards the 2016 Olympics.
One of those is 13-year-old Great Britain under-14 boys gymnastic champion Frank Baines.
Click PLAY or watch his his stylish Floor routine on YouTube.
He trains at Southport YMCA Gymnastic Club under coach Jeff Brooks.
The UK is definitely a team to watch for the future. They have plenty of young talent.

Six athletes?
He is one of 6 young gymnasts flagged EARLY as possible candidates for 2016. No doubt they will be invited to training camps, etc.
Any perspective on the effectiveness of training camps? Is the instruction better? How much time is wasted on travel? Does it encourage talents to stay in the sport or motivate those on the bubble to get invited. Etc. Etc.
Only six though? Why such a teeny number?
I am a big fan of training camps, myself, apolytongp.
Though I’m coaching right now, I prefer going camp to camp. They really “boost” training performance, I think.
The Russian and now American model of periodic camps for National Team is the best method, I think.
Another name to watch out for, although possibly for 2016 because I’m not 100% sure he’ll be age eligible for 2012 is Adam Waldron. That kid has so much talent, potential and more importantly drive and motivation to succeed that I would expect big things from him.
