IG has upgraded their website using new software called Vivvo 4.
It’s up right now after having been down for the last number of days. NOPE, it’s been down for weeks.

The Inside Gymnastics magazine website falls even further behind. They’ve made small improvements, but a complete overhaul of the Inside Gymnastics site is what’s really needed.

How is this a “complete overhaul” of the IG site? Not saying it even needed an overhaul but it looks exactly the same to me and being down for a week is pretty unprofessional. (Sort of like USAG being closed for two weeks over the holidays. What are they, an elementary school?)
IG had the same exact website design for about a decade, which has gotta be a record. The current look is, to my mind, fine, but the categories of how they list things can be confusing, though its better than it was when this design first debuted.
And while gymnast.com has great info, it’s near impossible to find on their site. Talk about needing a re-design!
Well, speaking of unprofessional … You can’t even access anything on the Inside site now; you just get an error message. So, to sum up, they all suck.
IG did do anything but crash their site for a week and now all the article pages broken. Not that Inside Gymnastics is any good but “falls even further behind”? Did you even look at IG or just assume they actually made improvements? The site is a mess.
Wow, you can’t access any articles on either gymnastics magazine website. That’s how you know we’re a second rate sport. That and those cheesy skating/gymnastics exhibitions. Do you ever see football and track combined exhibitions?
Sorry, you are right.
I posted that it was finally “up”. But obviously it was not “working”.
Lets wait and see how it works when finished.
They have totally upgraded the site. Now instead of just a blank page when you click a link, you get a 404 error page. Welcome to the Internet, circa 1996.
You should really retract your statements. “Inside Gymnastics falls even further behind”? IG has been down for WEEKS now and they offer digital subscriptions, meaning people PAY for them to use their website. Now IG is saying that it will still be “several days” before their website is working, at least. (I say “at least” because they said that same thing a week ago.) There is no excuse for any business to operate this way and you are someone who should be calling them on it, not posting that they’ve “made improvements” and are beating the competition, which is totally untrue!!
Good point. I did an update post.
