Inside Gymnastics magazine’s photographic year in review is up.
Some nice pics.

Photo Gallery: A Look Back At 2008 In Pictures
Sadly there are no captions, no thumbnails, no photographic credits. No slideshow.
A nice Christmas present from the magazine … badly presented online.
Inside Gymnastics has great potential. But I really wish someone who “gets” the internet would get onboard and improve their website.

magazines are going to die either way, Rick.
“magazines are going to die either way, Rick.”
Print media maybe but he’s not talking about their print media.
The web content is free and makes no money (is actually a net cost). Plus the content is really dependant on the print edition resources. They will be going under regardless as an organization and after the mag dies, they won’t have a website either.

If they go under it’ll be because of bad business practices. There are already magazines online that are available only to subscribers. Other magazines have ads on their pages and pay for themselves that way.
I think your magazine-business-practices Crystal ball is just as busted as your 2009-code-changes crystal ball was.
