Olympian Samantha Peszek moves to Sharps

Marvin Sharp is a great coach and a classy guy.

Samantha Peszek’s coach, Peter Zhao, retired after Beijing. Sam decided to go train with her Olympic teammate, Bridget Sloan, in Indianapolis at Sharps Gymnastics Academy.

Good for her, yet I’m surprised she isn’t at Chow’s considering how many similarities (gymnastics wise) with Shawn.

Hasn’t the Peszek family emphasized that they’re not keen on moving or being split up?

Rumour has it that DeVeau’s gym brought in Luminita Miscenko (Dominique Moceanu’s coach circa-1998) to replace Zhao but not everyone has adjusted to the change. Peszek is one, hence the move to Sharpe’s.
