Nice set!
Variations of that element (salto up) were common back when the bars were close together. They are almost unheard of now.

That was a gorgeous bar routine with variety, elegance, power — the complete package. Thanks for sharing.
I had access to the back training gym durin these championships and I remember watching her during practice and seeing how inconsistent she was at performing it. I’d say she only caught the high bar about 1 out of 5 times. Even in her 30 second touch on podium she missed it. Doesn’t matter of course, because she hit when it mattered, but it certainly wasn’t EASY for her.
Besides the obvious leg seperation, her layout Jaegar is so nice to watch, she looks very comfortable on bars and has a smooth, powerful swing.
Her Jaeger is piked.
She probably got deducted for the pike but still got credit for the layout shape.
Watch high bar some time. That jaeger was well piked.
I watched it again and could see the layout. Youtube clips are actually kinda crappy in how many frames are there. almost like watching south park cut paper animation.
