So, even with her crappy ugly form, and everything gymnastics purists dislike her for, I’m still going to keep cheering for Miss Nistor. Of course, I really, really hope she cleans up and upgrades and all that nice stuff, but overall, I’m pulling for her to do well in Beijing because she’s a sweet girl and she deserves more support. …

I went back to look at some video of Steliana to see if she was really this bad.

OK, her form and line are bad. Not terrible, but bad.
Still, I’ve stopped predicting the collapse of the Romanian Women’s Gymnastics Team, having been proven wrong so many times in the past.
Romania will be competitive in Beijing. Likely with Steliana Nistor contributing. They are a proud gymnastics nation.

Ohh my… I knew she was not flash but this is just shocker. Actually the Romanian girls have been on a downhill road for the past 4 years..since well actually 2004 Retirement of their last batch. What they need is the Gordon Ramsay’s of gymanstics coaching to come in a put order in house. I don’t understand what they are doing putting gymnasts like that out there.
I for one dont like it, and and think her form is schoking and its worse then bad that is for sure.

Actually reviewing the montage again, i will change my vote..she isn’t schoker. Her bar has cleaned up a we bit, floor is relatively tidy, even though! i didnt see her twisting in the more recent vids.. i can only imagine (been a while since i seen her compete, or seen anyone for that matter haha..damn coverage).
Her vault is yuck, that is that.. i mean if you can see legs split during the initiation of a twist there is something wrong..unless that is some new twisting technique haha.
I spoke to fast and i take what i said back…i have learned from my mistake. She has room to improve that is for sure, but if she does improve on those things that be great.
