On safety:
Parkour demands as much or as little as you want to put into it, you never have to cross the boundaries of risk at all if you feel that is your path. In the 4 years we have been around, there has been very few injuries and we take great pride in knowing that we have been one of the safest Parkour scenes in the world. It is a common misconception as well that Parkour is ‘extreme’ and ‘roof top jumping’, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. 99.9% of our meets take place on ground level, using normal rails and objects.
Realistically speaking, the greatest risk at a normal training meet is getting dehydrated, and if you are VERY unlucky, a sprained ankle is about the worst you will probably ever get.

i was just looking for a Parkour club or classes in Canada, when i saw this ‘Canada’s largest Parkour community’. so i thought i better check it out.
i knew about Parkour/Free Running since grade 5 or something, like i saw in TV and stuff but i never tried it before, now im 16 and i want to start free running or parkour, and i guess tht means i’m a beginner
thts why i was looking for a club or class or something.
so i just left this mail for u and i’m asking for help too,and i am kitchener, Ontario, so i’m pretty close to u guys…..

i really like the look of free running and parkour. it looks really fun to do, i have tried it on my own but i think i would get better if i join a group. the only problem is i am only 12, can i still join? also if i can, where is the exact location? I live in the beaches so i am probably close ish.
