I’m just saying that how do you know men are better at whatever job if women rarely even get the chance to show that they are equal.

Maybe they are just not as good as the men and that’s what the free market ends up with.

I don’t think that people are expecting everything to be 50/50. But I took this class at my university and studies report that in North America less than 15% of collegate head coaching positions are held by females. The number goes up a little bit in relation to the Assisant Head Coach position, but it’s nothing to get excited about. It’s not that the women aren’t qualified for the job or don’t apply, it’s just for some reason they don’t get the job for whatever reason.
I’m glad that there is something being done in Britain to combat this problem. And I do see it as a problem. I think that if say the female gymnastics team is allowed two coaches then one MUST be female.

Let the free market decide. Women and men are not the same in abilities or interests. Stop expecting everything to be 50/50. There is more than just plumbing that is different with the sexes.
